Roger founded IA Ventures in 2009 after spending 17 years on Wall Street and four additional years investing across data, tools, and technology applications. At IA Ventures, he led early investments in The Trade Desk, Wise, Octane, and other companies that went on to become multi-billion-dollar public businesses. During his time at IA, Roger consistently secured high-ownership positions in category-defining startups and delivered category leading returns. A three-time member of the Forbes Midas List, his track record reflects deep discipline, conviction, and an ability to identify outliers long before the market does.

Simon brings a hybrid background across venture investing, product strategy, and technical evaluation shaped by years of working directly with early stage founders. Before joining GCV, Simon served as a Vice President at Relay Ventures, where he sourced and supported high growth technology companies while working closely with leadership teams on product roadmaps, go to market decisions, and organizational structure. During his time at Relay he also held board roles across companies including Train Fitness, HomeTeam Live, Alt Sports Data, Mave, Woveo, and The Curling Group, which gave him broad visibility into the operational challenges teams face as they scale.

Ethan has been immersed in business and entrepreneurship from a young age, getting his start buying and selling sneakers in bulk throughout New York City while still in middle school. After his freshman and sophomore years of college, he interned at financial technology startups, gaining exposure to how software, data, and credit infrastructure reshape lending, repayments, and broader financial workflows. He later attended the University of Michigan, graduating with a BBA from the Ross School of Business with a focus in entrepreneurship.

Harrison is an operator with deep experience building and scaling high-growth startups, bringing a rare combination of operational rigor, product judgment, and cross-functional leadership. A graduate of the University of Michigan with a BA in Sport Management and dual minors in Entrepreneurial Studies and Real Estate Development, he entered the startup ecosystem immediately after graduation and joined Betr as employee number eight. Working inside a company from its earliest stages shaped his operator-first mindset and instilled a bias toward execution, ownership, and durable systems.
